Your personal drive guide will be readily available to pick you up from the hotel this after breakfast at around 8:30 AM and go on a short drive to Arusha National Park. The distance coverage from Arusha, Clock Tower, is approximately 40 km away. You will easily notice the transformation of the geographical terrain as you make your way to the park.

Unlike other national parks on the northern safari circuit of Tanzania, Arusha National Park offers a different kind of charm: dense forests known for hosting the black-and-white colobus monkeys, rolling grasslands filled with wildlife, and alkaline lakes where you will see lots of flamingos. The Mount Meru in the background also makes Arusha National Park one of the very few parks in Tanzania a unique destination to visit, while the absence of large predators adds a sense of tranquility rather than limitation.

Another unique experience in the park is a guided bush walk. Stepping out of the vehicle and walking among giraffes and zebras is an unforgettable experience, with your guide’s sharp instincts serving as the only barrier between you and the wild. Every rustle in the undergrowth, every distant call of a bird, and even the scent of damp earth carries a special meaning. Keeping pace with nature rather than simply observing it from a distance allows for a very special connection, one where the subtleties of the ecosystem become more apparent.

After the walk, lunch is enjoyed at a quiet spot, either at one of the designated picnic areas or inside the vehicle while the game drive continues. The drive circles around the Momella Lakes, where hippos shift lazily in the water, and clouds reflect perfectly on the surface when the wind is still. By early evening, we leave the park and return to Arusha, then drop off at the hotel or preferred location around the city.
